WILLISTON, N.D. – Williston State College's Chapter of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Collegiate showcased exceptional talent and determination at the Annual State Leadership Conference held in Mandan, ND, from April 7-8, 2024.

Led by President Luke Curren, Vice President Alicia Miller, and Secretary/Treasurer Gracie Nutt, the team demonstrated remarkable prowess across various events, securing top positions and accolades. The team members include Brennon Sabinash and Ty Kvande, who contributed significantly to the chapter's success.

Among the standout achievements, Gracie Nutt secured second place in the Emerging Business Issues event, while Alicia Miller and Gracie Nutt teamed up to claim second place in the Entrepreneurship Pitch Competition. Additionally, Alicia Miller excelled in the Foundations of Economics event, securing another second-place finish for the team.

The exceptional performance continued with Brennon Sabinash earning second place in Foundations of Hospitality Management, Luke Curren securing second place in both Foundations of Marketing and Foundations of Selling, and Brennon Sabinash earning third place in Foundations of Selling. Alicia Miller's impressive skills were recognized with a second-place finish in Impromptu Speaking.
